Professional Excellence

Agile practitioner of the year

This category recognises the best Agile Practitioner talent in Bulgaria, showcasing outstanding contributions to the Agile processes and practices. An Agile Practitioner is anyone with Agile mindset and values, who follows the principles outlined in Agile Frameworks. Open for nominations of Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Agile Coaches, Delivery Leads or any professional who has demonstrably applied Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS) on projects or programs completed within the last 18 months before submission. Both internal change initiatives and client-facing deliveries are eligible.

Project management office (PMO) of the Year

This category showcases outstanding Project Departments/PMOs supporting projects/programs and organisations. It recognises Portfolio or Enterprise PMO teams, including virtual or Centre- of-Excellence models. Open for nominations of teams with successful management of a Project / Program, completed within the last 18 months before submission, as well as teams that have been operational for at least one year and can evidence measurable improvements in delivery performance, governance or organizational maturity.

Project of the Year for Social Good

This category showcases projects that drive outstanding social good and social responsibility across the voluntary and NGO sectors. These are initiatives that have significant positive impact on society, demonstrating commitment to social responsibility and community engagement. Open for nominations of projects run by NGOs or public institutions and demonstrate a clear, measurable positive impact on Bulgarian communities or vulnerable groups (e.g., education, inclusion, environment, health).

Project of the Year for Innovation

This category showcases outstanding innovative projects in both Public and Private Sectors across all existing market segments and recognises innovative practices, methodologies and outcomes. It is open to new-to-organisation or first-in-Bulgaria solutions, as well as nominations of digital products, R&D, business-model shifts, or process‐automation projects that delivered measurable novelty or competitive advantage in projects completed within the last 18 months before submission.

Project Professional of the Year

This category recognises the best Project management talent in Bulgaria, showcasing outstanding contributions to the profession. A Project Professional is anyone who manages or plays a significant role in a project. Open for nominations of project, program or portfolio managers with at least five years’ experience who led or significantly influenced one or more projects completed within the last 18 months before submission, showing excellence in planning, stakeholder engagement and results.

Project Team of the Year

This category recognises the best Project Teams, showcasing outstanding contribution to the successful completion of Projects / Programs. Open for nominations of cross-functional or multi-organisation teams (including supplier/partner members) that achieved outstanding delivery results in a project completed within the last 18 months before submission.

Project of the Year

This category showcases outstanding projects in both public and private enterprises across all existing market segments in Bulgaria. The winning project should serve as a model for excellence in the field, inspiring others to pursue high standards in project execution. Open for nominations of projects completed (or having reached formal hand-over) in Bulgaria within the last 18 months before submission, regardless of size or sector e.g., infrastructure, IT, healthcare, energy, fintech, manufacturing, etc.
