“Business Modelling workshop: “Big pic” view for project managers”
Abstract
The Strategic and Business Management skills are one of the “Ideal skill set for today’s project professionals”*. Together with leadership and technical skills, project managers are expected to understand (external or internal) client’s business and to be able to align the projects with organization’s strategy and even to impact and contribute to the company’s innovations.
In the “Business Modelling workshop: “Big pic” view for project managers”, participants will be involved in hands on experience of how businesses create, deliver and capture value. Business modeling is the tool that a successful project manager needs in order to master holistic, transdisciplinary view on the key business building blocks. This is upgrading her/his ability to influence, lead and collaborate throughout the project management process with various stakeholders and work groups on their level and language.
The workshop is based on the Business Model Canvas concept. The method of conducting is sessions with a strong practical element, facilitated by coach with solid management experience.
