Workshop: From vision to value: minimalist portfolio management with P5.express
We’ll explore how to prioritize future projects, balance the portfolio, define meaningful value categories, and develop a workable prioritization formula. Participants will learn how strategic facilitation by the portfolio manager enables better decisions that turn vision into lasting impact. We'll use the quantified values to order projects and programs, but that's not enough: Our portfolio should be balanced across value categories. There are two types of categories, general categories, which are the same for all organizations, as well as categories specific to each organization. So, we'll work on identifying the specific categories of the imaginary organization and then we'll balance the portfolio across all of them.
Frank Turley is a project management author, keynote speaker, trainer, and advisor with over 20 years of experience. His mission is to transform how the world learns and applies project management by promoting practical training and minimalist approaches, which he shares openly with the global community.
