SoftServe is currently looking for a technologically motivated, self-directed L2 Support Engineer to join Support team, who will provide services for American based company offering cognitive computing services to financial institutions, healthcare organizations, etc. It will be your responsibility to ensure environment stability and availability, troubleshoot and resolve ongoing issues, implement changes, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support
  • Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve various types of requests-initiated whether by end-users or by the monitoring system
  • Work on a reactive and proactive problem and change management
  • Follow up with customers to verify solutions are successful
  • Suggest options for environment improvement
  • Mentor and assist other support engineers
  • Use your experience and initiative to help us continually improve our processes and services

Requirements:

  • One or more years of experience providing technical support
  • Basic knowledge of AWS/GCP
  • Cloud Networking
  • Firewall, VPN, Load balancers
  • Active Directory, PAM and SSO – Microsoft knowledge
  • Understanding the CI/CD approach
  • Web applications principles
  • Basic administration of MySQL or another relational-DB
  • BigData fundamentals (Hadoop, Spark, ElasticSearch, Zookeeper, ELT, NLP)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Organized
  • The ability to adapt, contribute and succeed in a rapidly changing environment

As a Plus:

  • Networking Security
  • Vulnerability management
  • Experience with running SIEM (Splunk, ArcSight, Qradar)
  • Understanding and experience with CSP-provided security toolset (for AWS and GCP)

Working Conditions:

  • Work on shifts (9-18h and 14-23h)
