Job Purpose:

Maintenance and troubleshooting of low/moderate complexity of the user desktops, periphery devices (printers, scanners etc.), support of the meeting rooms, involvement in project tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure workstation software as a part of the hiring procedure or by individual user’s request
  • Support of network and domain user accounts and mailboxes – serve as escalation point for all related issues and provide advisory and issue resolving services
  • Support of user’s desktop applications – serve as escalation point for all related issues and provide advisory and issue resolving services
  • Technical fault analysis and troubleshooting, detecting roots of problems and making decisions for resolving them. Cooperate with other directions if required to accomplish requests effectively and efficiently
  • Configure and support technical devices and workstations in meeting rooms and guest rooms to keep them working properly, with updated software, correct configurations, etc. according to scheduled maintenance plan or by request
  • Track tickets to closure or raise them to L3 Support if it requires deeper analysis and additional advisory cooperates with other IT directions
  • Track and sign hardware delivery invoices
  • Track tickets to proper status, updates, reassignment, and due dates
  • Configure and maintain SCS in server rooms, workrooms, meeting rooms, and guest rooms
  • Inform CSI Team to update corporate knowledgebase (that provides users with self-service) in case of changes
  • Perform workstation’s hardware and periphery devices maintenance (according to schedule or by request): check, repair, replacement
  • Perform installation and configuration of workstation hardware on demand of hiring, new host or relocation requests, uninstall in case of dismissal/release, etc.
  • Provide support for corporate servers’ (according to L3 layer request) to keep them working properly, forecasting potential risks and faults, proposing solutions of avoiding them
  • Provide support for corporate network equipment (according to L3 layer request) to keep them working properly, forecasting potential risks and faults, proposing solutions of avoiding them
  • Cooperate with Service centers/Vendors/Suppliers in the scope of hardware devices repair services
  • Ensure the logistics for transporting hardware devices between Company offices and/or Service Centers/Vendors/Suppliers
  • Company hardware storehouse management (inventory) – tracking list of available hardware and periphery devices, updating inventory items, requesting new
  • Regular or on demand inventorying of hardware and periphery devices
  • Perform onboarding with informing newcomers regarding corporate IT Services, rules, and security policies
  • Perform installation and configuration of workstation hardware for sponsorship (according to request)
  • Perform installation and configuration of workstation hardware for sale (according to request)
  • Working separately with special projects/items

Requirements:

  • Master degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Help Desk systems (desirable)
  • MS Windows 7/8/10
  • Linux (Ubuntu)
  • Mac OS
  • Basic MS Windows Servers administering
  • Basic Linux-like systems administering
  • Basic Mac OS systems administering
