Elena Krumova took to role of Vice President of Membership in 2009. PMI Bulgarian Chapter has around 200 members, 73% of them are certified in Project Management (90.38% PMP, 5.13% PMI-ACP, 4.49% other). During 2019 aiming to deliver additional value to Chapter members and project management community, with the support of the Chapter board, sponsors, hosts, speakers and volunteers she organized 9 face to face Monthly Meetings.
"Agile at Scale - Introduction to SAFe, Practical Case Study in ServiceNow" was the topic of January event presented by Svetoslav Iliev, Consultant & Trainer with more than 10 years IT Service Management background, specializing in Agile Frameworks, Agile Service Management, DevOps, ITIL, and ServiceNow.
Vili Yankova (agile project manager with 5 years of experience in planning, developing and implementing international IT projects and programs) and Anita Palankova (project manager within 5+ years experience working in large-scale multinational IT & business projects) presented "Agile Planning & Adoption Challenges" on 65th PMI Bulgaria Chapter monthly meeting in April.
The May event was devoted to "Team Motivation in Automotive Matrix Environment" presented by Zdravko Tsatsov (13+ years of front-line leadership at the executive level, project and talent management in automotive industry).
"Initiating Projects with Enterprise Clients" was the topic presented by Tony Rumtchovski (enterprise project manager, specializing in effective communication and project success in enterprise environments) on June meeting.
July was time for a Workshop. Peter Yeo (PMO Director and Agile Expert) come from UK to present "Agile Teams" and to deliver a provocative workshop on how to successfully adapt it to your team and work process.
Andrii Darmits and Svitlana Khedyk shared their personal and company and provided some tips and trick in "Effective Crisis Resolution" on 69th PMI Bulgaria Chapter monthly meeting in September.
In October 2019, Andon Simeonov (VP and Country Manager) impressed the project management community with the Presentation "Management, Leadership and Ruling practices by Game of Thrones".
On 5th December 2019, International Volunteer Day, during the 71st PMI Bulgaria Chapter monthly meeting, Hristina Stoyanova (PhD, PMP Certified, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, a lecturer in the field of Management) and Yanitsa Bekyarova (PMP Certified, PMO, Growth Mindset accredited trainer and People Development workshop facilitator) stretched our brains and hearts with "The Story of a PM from Business to Volunteering".
During 2019, the average number of participants in PMI Bulgaria Chapter monthly meeting were 59, 60% of them were Chapter members. The biggest monthly event has 90 participants.
On the question what are the monthly meeting for her, Elena answered: From my point of view, monthly meetings are a great event for networking with project management community fellows. I am inspired from speakers that we had, the experience that they shared and the interesting highlights that they did. I really hope they bring value to our Chapter members.
