PMI Bulgaria Chapter was founded in 2009 as a local representative of the Project Management Institute® (PMI). Since then, for more than 10 years, it has been gathering Project Management professionals and enthusiasts, providing knowledge sharing, promoting best practices and encouraging networking. PMI Bulgaria Chapter has been executing a large variety of projects entirely with the help of our amazing volunteers. Monthly Meetings & Webinars
In the new reality defined by the COVID-19 pandemic, our Monthly Members Meetings are now online webinars. Usually twice a month we gather 160+ attendees from Bulgaria and abroad for great learn-and-share virtual experience.
Bulgarian Project Management Awards
Bulgarian Project Management Awards is here to manifest and celebrate the achievements of people leading projects and project teams as well as recognize the level of project management maturity in the organizations.
PMI Bulgaria Chapter organizes this unique contest for the first time in Bulgaria in 2021 while considering the best practices from other European chapters and tailoring them to the Bulgarian project management landscape. We identified nine categories in which companies, projects and individuals can apply.
Project Management Summit Bulgaria
Project Management Summit Bulgaria is the largest Project Management conference in Bulgaria and the Balkans Region. In 2019 it was attended by more than 900 participants and earned the title of Europe’s largest PMI conference according to the PMI Global Organization. 2021 virtual summit was extended to 3 days and 130 speakers, focusing on leadership, learning and partnership opportunities presented by the Project Economy, and once again attracted more than 900 professionals and students: www.projexplorer.com
As an established trademark amongst the Project Management community, it gathers annually hundreds of Project Management professionals from Bulgaria and around the world. Conference attendees are representatives of universities, government agencies and organizations from diverse industries – IT, Telecomm, Banking and Finance, Construction. From middle and senior management, through start-ups and students – this event attracts and inspires the whole Project Management community! Its main goals are to promote best practices and new trends in the professional area of project, program and portfolio management. The conference provides up to 25 PDUs for certificate holders.
