From Chaos to Control: Mastering Project Management in Supply Chain Transformations
PMI Bulgaria Chapter 131st Monthly Meeting
In this dynamic session, we’ll unpack the real-world challenges and breakthroughs from two high-impact supply chain initiatives: a truckload optimization program for a global retail giant and the implementation of a transportation management system (TMS) for a major distributor. Both projects were complex, high-stakes, and carried significant operational and financial implications.
We’ll walk through what went right- from data-driven decision-making to stakeholder alignment- and what didn’t, including unexpected roadblocks, change resistance, and lessons learned the hard way. But more importantly, we’ll extract the core project management principles that transcend supply chain- lessons in communication, iteration, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration that apply to any industry facing transformation.
Whether you’re in logistics, IT, healthcare, or finance, this session will give you a candid look into project execution under pressure- and practical takeaways you can bring to your own initiatives.
