Declutter your project management approach
Our project management approaches are like our closets: they gradually become cluttered and difficult to use. We accumulate nonessential elements that we think might be useful one day. That day rarely or never comes, and those elements only make it difficult to use the essential ones. At a certain point, you stop coping with it and declutter your closet. This keynote reveals the concept of focusing on the essential aspects of project management.
Nader Rad started working with projects about 28 years ago: first, as a project planner in construction projects, and then he moved to large process-plant projects. In parallel, he was also involved in IT projects and startups.
Nader gradually moved from project planning into the wider project management domain by helping project managers and companies improve their project, program, and portfolio management systems.
Nowadays, he’s spending most of his time developing eLearning courses in their small company, Management Plaza, writing books (about 50 of them so far), and contributing to standards:
